Jones College Prep
In December the students invited Veterans to join them for holiday festivities! Together, the student and Veterans played Wii, board games, Catch Phrase and trivia while sharing some snacks and beverages. Through the donations from Board Members, the students were able to provide each Veteran with a $10 Jewel gift card, which the students used as prizes. In the end, every Veteran walked away with a gift card.
During the week of St. Patrick's Day, the students traveled to Joliet to Marycrest Apartments to celebrate with the residents. The students brought snacks and drinks for the seniors and also played Bingo as well as St. Patrick's Day trivia! Twenty three residents were able to make it and together the residents and students shared some laughs. One of the residents were so excited to have the students, she invited them into her home to show them where she lived.
